NEW FEATURES ADDED WITH EACH NEW UPDATE
DrawLikePro is built for artists who want to use a
reference image as a guide for digital drawing and create compelling videos
of their process.
Workflow: Load an image from your Photos, position it over
the canvas, lock it in place, and use your Apple Pencil to trace or draw.
Activate one of the recording modes before you start to capture your
process.
1. Tap the Photo Icon to open your photo
library.
2. Select the image you want to trace. It will appear on the canvas.
3. Use two fingers to pinch-to-zoom and pan the image. Use the Opacity
Slider to make it semi-transparent.
4. Once positioned, tap the Lock Icon . This freezes the overlay and allows you
to pan and zoom the drawing canvas underneath independently.
This mode creates a clean video of your drawing strokes appearing on a blank
canvas, with no UI or overlay image visible.
- **Setup:** Load and lock your image as described above.
- **Activate:** Tap the Auto-Hide Icon . It will turn blue.
- **Record:** The Record Button will
become active. Tap it to start recording. The overlay and toolbars will
automatically disappear when you touch the screen with your pencil, and
reappear when you lift it.
This mode records a live video from your iPad's camera, allowing you to film
your hand drawing on the screen. The overlay image is visible to you as a
guide but is **not** included in the final video.
- **Activate:** Tap the Webcam Icon .
Your camera feed will replace the white canvas.
- **Setup:** You can still load and lock an overlay image to use as a
tracing guide.
- **Record:** Tap the Record Button to
start and stop recording the live video feed.
Smart Eraser : The eraser is
color-aware. Select a color from the palette, then tap the eraser icon. It
will now only erase strokes of that specific color, protecting the rest of
your drawing.
Save Drawing : Tap the save icon to save
your current drawing (without the overlay) as a high-quality JPG image to
your photo library. You can choose from Small, Medium, or Large sizes to
manage file space.
